Well, that whole “next week” thing didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped.  Some guests fell through, other commitments reared their heads, and… well, none of that matters now, because WE’RE BACK!

This week’s guests are Nik Davidson and Mike Lee.  They have no web sites to link, so episode 1’s Leif Chappelle is still the big winner in that department.

Sorry for the still admittedly not perfect audio.  I’m still homing in on the perfect recording solution.  But we’ll get there.

Well, we traded one set of audio difficulties for another.  In episode 0, it was me and three Skype callers, who each recorded their side of the call.  I then mixed them all together.

This time, there were three people in my apartment, with Joe the only Skype caller.  Surprisingly, I got all the technical issues sorted out four minutes before we were scheduled to start, only to have all new technical issues crop up during the recording.

That, combined with previous commitments nearly every day of the week, and a roof leak directly above my electronics cabinet, has led to a larger delay than usual for this episode to be finished.  But now, here it is.

Our guests this week are Leif Chappelle (http://woodlandalien.com) and Dru Staltman, who has no web site, but is still awesome.

Now that I’ve gone out and bought a real microphone, future technical difficulties should be rare.

Welcome to the… let’s call it the “companion blog” for the 2 vs. 2 Podcast. Ordinarily, I think these things are known as “recap blogs”, or even just “blogs”. But I already have three blogs, one (video-game related) Twitter account and one other podcast, so this thing is going to be lean and finely honed.

Of course, ideally, a project like this shouldn’t need much exposition. Every week, two developers and two non-developer gamers will get together and talk about games. Easy, right? The answer is “yes”. But it’s also pretty damned entertaining and informative. At least, I think it is. You’ll have to download it (or stream it) to find out for yourself.
